I’m a self-motivated Software Engineer in love with creating, learning and discovering new possibilities of code and design. I first took interest with building web pages and customizing my web pages when I was in High School. I decided to take C++ as an extracurricular class, as I was interested with computers and technology. I then ventured out to customizing my webpages such as MySpace and Xanga. I spent a good amount of hours designing and customizing using HTML/CSS, as this was enjoyable for me. The process of having a vision and creating that vision the way you imagined gives you that feeling of accomplishment.
As a naturally curious individual, I wanted to learn more about web applications and code. I enrolled into Hack Reactor's 19 Week Immersive Software Engineering Program. With this program I am able to add multiple skill sets under my belt. Through this boot camp I learned to use multiple tools and languages like Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Django, MongoDB, React, FastAPI, Docker. I strive to learn more and grow as a Software Engineer.
Worked with other administrative staff to coordinate Events. Assisted senior leaders with undertaking ad-hoc projects and monitoring day-to-day incoming communications and requests.
Assisted HR Manager, Benefits Manager with onboarding new employees. Managed Excel Spreadsheets for data management and analysis including employee retention data. Supported employees and HR manager with various requests and policy enforcement.
